Yeah I actually have two folders of games about 10 of each region so I can try out NTSC and PAL versions of the same games and different ones.

If you want me to test that I can.

I hope I never came across like I was moaning about not having it, lol I was just trying to be funny

If you have less then 7 games (the number of covers show on screen), the loader loops the games you have, and YES that is the result you get, showing same cover image more then one time.

Could maybe be fixed so that you only see 2 covers if you only have 2 games and the other covers show "noimage" pictures.

But right now it seems to be looping if you have less then 7 games.

Bad news sorry.
I can go 11 games to the right and i get the 'abort called' message (cover is missing), 1st time i got past this cover and couple more before i got the 'crash/green screen'
If i go to the left straight away the Wii crashes with a green/coloured flickering screen (have to power off not reset)
I was testing with the 3d covers so i will go back to the old covers and test again..(all covers available)
Cheers

- which SystemMenu are you running(3.2e, 3.3u...)?
Upgraded to 4.0 using waninkoko's upgrader.

- are you using cIOS36rev9 or cIOS36rev10?
rev10

- how many games are on your usd drive?
about 63, I think, I can check later if it's important.

- when does the bug occur (what did you do just before it happened)?
Either scrolling many times to the left or to the right, all I did was press many times. It's when I hit Wii Music scrolling to the left and when I scroll to the right, it's when I reach Madworld.

- did you went into the settings screen (by pressing b)?
No.

- can you reproduce this bug, when doing the exact same thing?
Yes.

- add here all extra info, that you think can help me?
It seems to be the same position every time. I can't access any of the games between MadWorld and Wii Music, and for some reason, when I go out of the 'B' menu the screen turns to grayscale, it's as if it's changing video mode when it goes back to the main screen.

ok.. i can't go to the left at all from original position, i can go right then back to left, but not past starting spot. (to Zak and wiki RTZP08 )
I can now go 30 places to the right to Indiana Jones : The Original Adventure Ntsc RLIE64(I think). these 2 places gives me the green screen crash. not sure if it's the game at fault or not.
now that i have all of the large images in the folder (none missing) the 'abort called' message doesn't come up
hope this helps

Does this have a WAD file so that we don't have to use the homebrew channel to load it? I'm sorry, but this forum doesn't have a search and I am NOT reading 37 pages to find out when someone can answer my question in 10 seconds.

Dear all,

Thank you for the loader ! whow ! great work !

Comments :

I love it BUT
The picture loading process seems not to be optimized for me. It is quite long to go from a game to another.
It seems that refreshing process is (because we can see the process or par of it)
All the image big and all the small are change to all the same. And then each one are reloaded.

This is why the user that i am is "lost" when passing from a game to another one. The coverflow effect is a bit away from the apple original.

- which SystemMenu are you running(3.2e, 3.3u...)?
3.3u(a).

- are you using cIOS36rev9 or cIOS36rev10?
rev10

- how many games are on your usd drive?
87, It is 160 Go - 2"5 inch * 1350 big and 1350 small

- when does the bug occur (what did you do just before it happened)?
While scrolling

- did you went into the settings screen (by pressing b)?
No.

- can you reproduce this bug, when doing the exact same thing?
Yes.

Hey everyone. I was discussing some visual stuff with my brother today and I think I have some new tweaks that make a bit more sense. Some are purely visual and some are code so I will need to speak with DK to see what he thinks.

Here is two samples though. They may look very plain but it's the whole idea of what I am trying to achieve.

Main Page

1mod.png

Settings Page

2mod.png

I'm going to ask if Don can put the console on the main page where it says the game, back to below the main box instead of above. That was my silliness and it was pointed out today over a few hours discussing with my brother. I'm also going to see if he can code it so that when you press A on the game it asks you to confirm if your want to load it or not.

Now I know some people like that you can get in nice and quick but there is a order to this madness, trust me.

First if it can be coded properly, then the first time you use the loader it will ask if you want confirmation dialogues. If you say no, then it won't ever ask and so when you press A it will just load. However for those using the loader for maybe their children who don't know what is what, then when you click it will ask you unless you have disabled the confirmation texts. I hope that makes sense. I also hope that you see it makes a much more user friendly loader that anyone could use, not just us tech geeks

As you will see on the second image, I'm hoping that this is how the Settings page can maybe end up like. You will still set options on or off in there but now you see the actual game your setting it to. The Wiimote was nice but I don't think it's really needed, however maybe much later a information section can be added. I would probably say it's best left till maybe a new library is used like contemplated.

NOTE
Ignore the fact that the game in picture 1 (Muramasa) and the settings pic are different, they would be the same

Can't really tell the difference... maybe the little gradient inside the boxes.?
you removed those dots (i never really found them nice, i mean, till we don't have the scrollbar there's no need for theme)

it's just some coords to change so consider it done.

Already done with a config settings named safe_mode = [0], 1 ,2 where
0: install/remove/format + no useless user interaction (aka advanced mode).
1: no install/remove/format + ask the user what to do (aka safe/child mode)
2: same as 0 (advanced mode) but with user interaction enabled.

i really did like that wiimote, it's a neat way to display instructions.
maybe you can turn it 90° left or right (make it horizontal) and put it either at the top or bottom as we have some free space there.
