A nice, clean looking GUI similar to the Wii's default menu with the channel blocks and everything, in these fake channels the games you have on the flash drive or HDD would appear with banners and everything. Pretty much like the default Wii menu, except when you click "A" to enter a game it doesn't have to load a channel but it would just start the game.

However if you press B over a "channel" you get a pop up menu with options such as "play, delete, create Channel or properties that tells you how big the game is and stuff" so basically be able to create channels and install them all from the Wii?
I take it this version of USB Loader would need to somehow incorporate a WAD manager in it so it could do this.

This GUI should also display how much used and free space is there on the disc and other interesting and useful info like that.

Would this be possible at some point or would it take a hell of a lot of work? Also would it be risky to extract channels on the Wii like that?

Sure, it is possible! You can now start to learn coding.

It sounds like you want a cross between the Homebrew Menu and the USB loader. Why not do that? Use a WBFS GUI to make a .dol for every one and make a quick picture (or google it).

If you want the real banners in a homebrew you'll need months until you can decode them right [IMG]

Sounds similar to an Idea I had. Make a USB Loader channel. What it'd do is, you select a game from your game list, and it'd display like a game channel does now, with a banner and everything, and launch that game when you start the channel. However, if you hold a button when you launch it, it'll boot up the normal USB loader channel, where you can do whatever you can now, rip games, delete them, etc, and also change what game launches on a normal boot.

Some People (including me, mousex, Kenney, bubba, etc...) are working on a GUI...it will take some time, but we hope we'll be able to release one soon...I also want a nice GUI, and will try to do as much as I can that this comes true...

There are already many Threads about this, so please search next time...

sounds along the lines of XBMC for the Xbox1, dude do you have any idea how long that took to put together..

something like this will come SOON..but its not gonna happen straight away. stuff like that takes forever to plan, design, test, implement etc.

    just give people time.
