Corrupted Wii

A long time ago I was messing with this same Wii. I finally got BlueBomb to work, and I installed HBC. This Wii was unmodded, but would crash after Health and safety and being on the menu for a few seconds. HBC did not help that at all. I dumped the NAND, loaded it into dolphin and it works fine. I checked the mail on Dolphin and there's nothing so I don't think it's a mail brick. The Wii also takes forever to format and won't proceed, as well as freezing if I go into save data on the real console. On Dolphin, all of that works. I am kind of stumped and didn't know if anyone had some expertise on this.

Well I haven't been able to get HBC to boot on the wii anymore even with PriiLoader. I haven't made any changes so I'm not sure why. I can maybe try to do that on Dolphin. Also, I tried once more to restore the NAND from a backup, but it says my original NAND is from a different Wii so I did not proceed.

your nand sounds like its corrupted. i'll find the syscheck guy and ping him in an edit. he might be able to help u better

Do you have bootmii boot2?

Make a nand backup from this wii, and then u can use it to create a new virgin nand.bin with ohneschwanzenegger. Alternatively you can clone a different wii's nand.bin to work on this wii by feeding the backups to modmii (or punetwiin directly). If u have bootmii boot2 this isn't very risky, but if u don't I would try other solutions first.

I get off work pretty soon, I will try that. I do have boot2 bootmii. Im wondering if there's a save game that got corrupted because the first time it crashed I was looking at data management, and it showed no data but on emulator it showed 6 games. I will let you know if it works.

On an unrelated note, all of the front LEDs look blown up. How does one screw up a Wii this bad? Lol
