Interesting. I could have sworn that people on 11.0 were running into the same issue but who knows anymore. Everyone is so fragmented running sysnand or emunand patches. CFW or BrickwayCFW
Having latest firmware /= latest NATIVE_FIRM when you have cfw.

Well there's a difference between "firmware" and "NATIVE_FIRM", although they're used exchangeably very often (maybe *too* often).

"NATIVE_FIRM" is the kernel that gets used (2.51-0, for example), while "firmware" refers to the userland existing on your NAND (11.0.0-33U, for example). Note how "NATIVE_FIRM" is region-less while "firmware" isn't.

Semantics aside, the problem here is that the only CFW that extracts the NFIRM from the NAND is Luma3DS (and some derivatives), therefore its guaranteed that the NFIRM matches your firmware, while other CFWs use a separate file that gets loaded from the SD card. Technically you can boot up to 11.2 using a NFIRM as old as 9.6, so many people didn't notice the issue until they used a title that requires a newer NFIRM, like the ACNL update, Pokemon SM and SMM.

BTW it appears that the Sky3DS thing was because the ROM was improperly dumped, and GW never had to patch the ROM itself, since they patch it in execution time in order to skip the NFIRM version verification (further evidence that whatever .3DS ROM was obtained was a bad dump).

Now please, and this goes to the whole community - gets your facts straight before posting anything. Google doesn't bite, I promise!

New AP. Use Luma.
I think Crystal lost all credibility after posting that you could obtain Fieldrunners for free and be able to transfer it.

On a related note, use what you want. I personally don't care, I wasn't aware anything else added in the new AP patches yet.
Could you polity fuck off. I made a mistake, then corrected myself when I realized my mistake. That doesn't "ruin" my creditability, it only shows that I am human and I error. As well this isn't a Luma3DS related thread and there's no reason to make it about Luma3DS., In fact, refer to my latest blog

On topic: OP, what is the Native_FIRM you are running? If you are running on anything below 11.0, update to the latest NATIVE
https://github.com/chaoskagami/corbenik

If that doesn't work, make sure you have the "Firmlaunch Hook" in the options.

Because it was improperly dumped? If that were the case they would be usable now but the last I checked no one's personal dumps were loading on the Sky3DS+ either. I can always try my personal dump but based on the Sky3DS and 3dshacks subreddits, they still don't load.

I already managed to fix it. I forgot to use firmlaunch hook

*politely coughs*
If you want to start something with me or you have an issue with me. Bring to a PM, but I will not have my creditability questioned over a misunderstanding, especially on a topic I very clearly know something about. I was the person who actually tested the reboot patches for Corbenik!
