Uhhh currently you can only stream videos to the DSi via a Wii channel only released in Japan (will be released here soon). You cannot "copy DVDs" straight to the DSi.

You can however play movies on the DSi with a DSi compatible flashcart and moonshell 2.

I bought an Acekard2 with the assumption that I could copy the kids DVDs. Is this possible?

QUOTE(Sandman00009 @ May 26 2009, 04:49 PM) the only way you can watch dvds is if you convert it to a dpg format and use moonshell

Tutorial?

You can rip a DVD to your computer(lots of programs on the internet, just search Google).

You'll need to download the homebrew, Moonshell.
Then convert your ripped DVD to .DPG or .DSM format, and it can be played with Moonshell.

And (do not name sites with copyrighted content for download) is a good site for already converted .DPG movies

I have a VTS_10_1.VOB file that I converted using DVD Decrypter. I have moonshell10_dpgtools folder:

if moonshell cant convert VOB i would suggest converting it to a usable format first, such as avi

Download SUPER Video Converter, it can do any format to any format (practically) and can handle VOB to DPG. And it's good. Go get it NOW!!

Hell... the OP wants to put DVD's on a DSi...

I want to play PS2 titles on my GBA! Why the hell not! They don't share the same storage medium, nor do they have anywhere near the same hardware specs... but if he can dream, why the hell can't I?
