Hello guys,
So recently I found out that it is very easy to port apps to xbox one (assuming you have a dev account which is 20 dollars), All you need is appx files and you can port them over easily. So my question is why aren't we using DAC (Desktop app converter) to port win32 games to xbox one. I know there are some emualtors on the way. But what about fan games. Like what about mega man 2.5 d (it already supports xbox controller) or metroid fan games. Is there an easy way to convert win32 to appx. I hope people research this because I do not know what is stopping us from sideloading games with xbox controller support. I guess just a thought I had. Sorry for poor english.
Edit: The reason why I was asking is because I saw this guy right here porting a very old pc game (no source code as far as I am aware) to uwp and install it as a store app. The game he ported is chicken invaders. Here is the video:
