Oh boy, this one's a doozy, so I'm kinda discontent with that laptop i bought a few months ago, it's hardly been used, never overclocked, it's just been a frickin' stardew valley machine lmao. i spent top dollar on it, and the specs and MSRP are here, but I'm just trying to piece together how much i could sell it for, i was thinking maybe 2000 CAD? I'm genuinely unsure if that's over/under-selling for what it's worth. if anyone has any input it would be much appreciated. I have the box with the cable too...

It does look nice. Well how's the CPU? GPU utilization? Storage?
CPU is pretty great, power hungry but i've never had a bottleneck with 1440p gaming with it...the GPU however is held back by the VRAM, which is nvidia's dirty work, but unless you need to max settings out and not use up-scaling it's still able to work. as for storage we're looking at the stock 2tb, it's pretty decent, but any possible upgrade would have to be a single sided ssd as allegedly the slot in the laptop isn't built for double sided ones.

Hm hm not bad. Uhh honestly I say double it and go for 4000 CAD (so like $2,800) the buyers probably negotiate so you're not gonna get the price you set to + the laptop looks real nice and in it's moderate condition

He is not going to get 4000 Canadian dollars when brand new is about 3100 Canadian+tax, so maybe 1800 to 2000 Canadian is a fair price if it is the same specs in the link he provided.

Oh damn it's on sale now (It wasn't when we talking about this) okay, mate, change it to 3500 Canadian. He still needs to make a profit

He won't get 3500 Canadian, since it is used, based on the price on ebay it goes for about 1400-1500 Canadian, for similar model that is used.

Calm down now folks, first of all I'm trans so try to refer me as She/Her. That's just a minor nitpick and I don't care too much but still wanted to voice it. Second of all I should have updated this, I was able to sell it for about 1600 CAD after some bartering. I appreciate the advice and it's gone well but no worries as the laptop is sold! :)

Yeah, I'm happy. Was able to use the money to go towards a high end PC rig. Now I just wait for those new GPUs to release LOL!
