Unless you have around 800-900$ You can't. 500$ isn't enough.

Not bad. Personally I would go for the P35 DS3L Motherboard though.

I didn't know which mobo to pick, went to newegg and sorted by reviews

The 8800GTs are ALL sold out...

Salvage the HDD and optical drive from the PC you have, should cost ~$850

Don't get that PC. It has bad parts that will fail very soon. Trust me. For a half decent PC go to Delloutlet.com they have great computers for the price.

what about this
Asus M2N-E SLI Motherboard - NVIDIA, Socket AM2
Ultra eTorque ULT33180 Mid-Tower ATX Case
OCZ SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel 2048MB

Samsung SH-S183L SATA LightScribe OEM Burner
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 500GB Hard Drive - 7200, 16MB, Serial ATA-300, OEM

That's a bit better.

Get the 8800GT instead of the 3850. Despite the 3850 looking better on paper, the 8800GT outperforms it in benchmarking tests, and costs about the same.

here is what i am thinking

Not bad. I would change the PSU to something like the Antec EarthWatts 430 Watts.

Good luck finding a GT

This. The HD 3850 is a good replacement and is significantly cheaper then the 8800 GT
