I'm the author of this tool. I never meant to release the first beta version here (but someone did) because it's not yet as good as the similar and already released tools. And I guess there won't be future releases here as well.

Because what I have planned is to pre-include xorpads for all roms (1KB each) in the tool. And new xorpads generated will be shared automatically. So most of the time conversions can be done on PC all alone. However, publishing the xorpads is illegal. So you probably won't see future releases here unless I make the conversion code standalone.

Sorry to hear that someone leaked you tool. I actually tried it and it works well even if it's still on early development. Hope to see your full tool soon, good work

Assuming you are the original author, are there any plans to incorporate 9.x support? And going in-line with the previous two comments, where can we find the updated build once uploaded?

Well, going by the plan to have decentralized sharing of xorpads, 9.x support wouldn't be necessary, since most people would be able to convert without needing to use their 3DS at all.

While that is true, it would allow 9.x users to share xorpads that haven't been added.

My apologies for the leak.
Make sense though because OP of the release thread, did not seem to understand very much how the tool worked, in regards to what the 'convert.py' script was doing

Thank you though for your hard work

EDIT: If I would have know the crappy 'ncchinfo_gen-exheader.py' script I edited was going to be bundled and avertised on a English & Japanese blog as an "update" for the leaked CIAKonPack I would have named it something better

Good to know and thank you for your work on that.

Pre-included XOrpads... with the way things work, that would also mean region free and FW spoofed CIAs will be out of the question with your tool, correct?

i think FW spoofing only requires the exheader xorpad (i have no idea tbh not looked into how the minFW requirement is even setup), but as for region free that would likely be out of the question as that would require the exefs xorpad for every game which is much bigger than the exheader xorpad.....probably around 3-4mb per game where as you only need 2kb's worth of xorpad for the exheader(its just rounded up to 1MB when being created)....so lets just say this was made compatible with even just 300 games that would be about 1mb's worth of xorpads vs 900MB-1.2GB to include all exefs xorpads too.....especially considering region free could be enabled for pasta at any point effectively making it a sort of pointless endeavor

Thanks guys. If you're interested, you can find me on github here. However, don't expect updates too soon because I'm a lazy guy ;)
