Homebrew CIA Question

Do I just put the cia on my sd card, boot into godmode9 and re-encrypt it? or?
I use Luma3ds v9.1.
I had an installed title in cia format, and when I dumped it with godmode9, someone with gateway says it didn't work.
I'm assuming after its dumped, I need to re-encrypt it before I leave godmode9?

I think that you need to decrypt the .cia that you dumped, to a .3ds file. If the file you dumped is a .cxi/.cia, then GodMode9 can decrypt them to .3ds games. I think all that you have to do is click on the cia/cxi, and choose NCCH option s. Click on the create .3ds/dump .3ds/ extract to .3ds. One of those. If you wait a while, I can check on my own device, because I am currently not home, but will be in about 3 hours.

Does Gateway still work in this day and age?? I still have mine but haven't used it.
