Ok I have been playing with my iTouch2, but I cant figure out how to apply cheats. Can anyone help with this?

you can try download the cheat.db from cheats.gbatemp.net

and

—–M3DS Real/G6DS Real Cheat Tutorial—–
(1) The M3/G6 DS Real uses the cheat.db file.
(2) After downloading the cheat.db file from the link provided, use WinRar/WinZip/7-Zip to extract the file.
(3) Copy the extracted file.
(4) Go to your SD card and paste the file in the “SYSTEM” folder.
(5) If prompted to replace an older cheat file, click “yes” to proceed and overwrite the old cheat database.

elixirdream, he's using Itouch2, not M3Real, so it'll be a little different

1. download the newest cheat file like elixirdream said
2. for firmware 3.2, copy the cheat.db to your iTouch folder overwrite the old one
3. goto iGame, highlight a Game and push Select or choose the icon on the right side of the game to enter the Cheat Config screen, enable the cheats you want to use
4. choose the Checkmark to save the settings and boot the game

Precisely, I found this out at school after tinkering with my iFavs. Thanks although it can't find the games that matter (Dragon Quest V), guess I must add the cheats in.
