ROM Hack Cheats For FE Echoes (USA) not working

I download cheats for FE echoes here: https://github.com/KunoichiZ/SoVUS-NTR-Plugin
I did all the steps (loading BootNtr selector 3.5 blah blah) but when its time to use them my game crashes and forces my 3DS to shutdown. I am on 11.4 with B9s CFW.
The game crashes when i load the cheat and enter a town or a map for example. How do i fix this?

Try activating cheats on the title screen instead of in a map/town. I've noticed issues when enabling cheats in maps/towns.

That plugin probably isn't updated for v1.1. if you delete the update data it'll probably work.
