Homebrew Cheat engine?

Ok, n00b question here.

What exactly is cheat engine? I thought it was something on PC, not 3ds. If it is... how do you use it on 3ds?? Do they have a code.bin or something??

Cheat Engine is for the PC, not 3DS...

That's what I thought... But I had heard people talking about it in the custom launcher(spider) thread.

You could've asked in that thread... Anyways, what they meant was that memory editing for games on any platform is done similarly to how one would do it with cheat engine. The process is to check memory for a value, change it, check again, and then edit that address. Obviously in this case, checking memory consists of dumping and checking dumps rather than looking in real time (at least for now).
