Why is there something special about double? Normally it is good news for hacking that a game use double. The reason is it converge very fast and even small number is easy to search. Quite often even one search can get the target.

I think maybe I understand why you hate double. It is not double being the problem. GameMaker studio is shitty to hack.

lets just say i have had trouble in the past with them.....

and by trouble, i mean i cant find a pointer that persist across reboots, even going as high as 7/10/1000

GameMaker Studio games were impossible up until we got GDB

It is still fool's errand to try to find pointers though.
