About Class 4 16GB cards: Machomuu just stuffed his card really full, and that's why it's a tad slow.
Actually it was slow when I first got it, at around 6 gb. I'm not the only one and I've heard of others who have this problem as well, though it may be the brand. It's not that bad, but class 10 is recommended.

Any MicroSD should be fine.

Just know that the SCDS2 and the iEVO are really expensive for what you listed.

Just get a $2 (LEGIT) R4.

LOL Is most of that games? Who could have 16 GB worth of DS games?

EDIT: I am getting a Kingston. Those are High quality so I should be fine with a 16 GB Class 4.

A lot of people. Trust me, many pirates just pirate for the sake of pirating/pirate games just to have them.

Just checked, mines a San Disk, so Kingston might be okay.

That's true. I did that with my Wii. Then I taught myself self-control.

Trust me, it's so much easier to get them and play them (and less expensive) on the DS because all you have to do is put them on the SD Card. You sure you'll be able to control yourself?

Probably not. As soon as my Supercard Dstwo and Kingston micro SD card arrive in the mail I will go nuts.

On microSD brand: If you can order from newegg, ADATA cards are often available with free or very cheap shipping, I was a little leery of them when the brand first started to appear but they're as good as the more recognized brands or better for the price. The price difference between class 4 and 6 is usually negligible. Price considering, go for class 6, or 10 if you're going for a single digit size -- though it won't affect your gameplay much if at all.
It will affect the speed at which you can transfer stuff to and from it obviously, so if you do a lot of fiddling with it once you get your first flash cart, you'll be possibly less angry at your microSD reader.

Their memory section for microSD is easiest to find under Cameras

edit: (i somehow stuck a sentence in the wrong place)

the data transfer rates are also capped by the microSD reader, if you're using one of those free ones that came with a microSD card, it won't make much of a difference anyway (when transfering to and from your PC)

How well does the Wooded R4 handle SNES emulation and SCUMM?

EDIT: Nevermind, I put this in a new topic since there don't seem to be any on the subject yet.

EDIT 2: Bought a Supercard DSTwo. Thanks for all the help!

Acekard can BARELY emulate SNES games, they run shittily and have sound problems, as well as graphics problems. Lots of games don't even run.

If you need SNES you need to buy something like DSTWO or cyclo.

Also Acekard 2i works perfectly well with 3-in-1, I saw someone earlier in the thread say they weren't sure, but it works just fine. If you get an acekard you should definitely get a 2i, not 2.1 for future-proofing
