Hardware Charging problems

Having some major problems with charging my switch.

• The original charger that I got with my switch no longer works at all on my switch but works on other devices.
• A 3rd party usb-c cable works but only in 1 of the 2 directions.

This sadly also means that I can't use the dock I have. I've tried connecting different usb-c cables to the dock but nothing happens. And since the switch can only be put in the dock in 1 direction I can't try the other way.

I have carefully tried to clean the pins with a toothpick and paper and when I look at it with my microscope the pins seem both clean and undamaged.

Anyone else have this problem or have an idea for a solution?

I was thinking of trying to use this between the switch and the dock and try the 2 different directions to see if it works.
