Ok, My friend has a PSP Phat (1000) Black
    Its on OFW 6.00 Apparently
I was just wondering, is it possible to change it to CFW without a Pandora's Battery

no. The only way to hack a 6.00 PSP is a Pandora battery.

Yes, all PSP-1000 and most PSP-2000 (all except TA-088v3) PSP's can be hacked with a Pandora battery regardless of firmware revision.

lol PSP PHAT aka PSP1000 works on the same CFW as PSP2000. PSP2000 just has more memory and a few other items that allow the CFW to do more with plugins (think plugins for firefox or winamp) and same emulators run specifically for slim psp's so they run faster with the added memory.

Wheres the best place to buy a Pandora's Battery? I live in Australia, NSW, and would rather buy it in person if possible.
