well, I've managed to change the wiistation forwarder's ios to 252 via modmii (the slot where I have fakemote installed) and it created a modified .wad file, didn't try it yet though.... but i will and report back

Yes that's what I did. Btw i'm on vWii and am using the WiiSX 4.1.dol. It works for me but I also got black screened a few times when I launched the channel. Sometimes it works, sometimes it just freezes on a black screen. I believe this is a bug with Fakemote since Wiiflow also does this sometimes.

yeah, vWii is not exactly wii and wiisx is not exactly wii station

You need to get the required versions of the devkitPro/devkitPPC toolkit for compile WiiStation, mentioned in the README:
