Hacking Change DSi Screen Brightness

Ok, I just found something out with the DSi, and I don't think it has to do with an acekard, or any other flashcart. But, if you hold select and use the volume buttons you can change the brightness at any time! If this was already posted here I'm sorry, but this is new to me. O.o
