Whats the differences or pros and cons of each? I want to be able to boot directly into my home screen and get custom themes as well as install cia games and custom fba virtual console games and still be able to play online. I used oothax to downgrade from 10.7.0-32u to 9.2.0-20u. Whats the best option for me?

@tjhooker73 is mostly right. RedNAND is only smaller for people that have a N3DS with a 1.8 gb nand. However, since you don't have emuNAND set up at all, just go for redNAND. I'd only say to skip redNAND if you have an o3ds or N3DS with a 1.2 gb nand with emuNAND already setup.

You should only go a9lh after you get familiar enough with everything else. I installed it 4 days after installing emunand(ReiNand in my case, following salamencizer's downgrading guide and wurstpistole's emunand guide.)

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
