Hello! When trying to play games on USB Loader GX on my Wii, some have a black screen and then when starting, it redirects me to the system menu. I'm looking into the forum since yesterday but I couldn't find anything that works for me. Any help?

Here's my SysCheck (it's in French):

It can be identified by looking at the 3rd character of the game/disc ID. For example: 'E' for US, 'P' for Europe, and 'J' for Japan.
Thank you for that information, I didn't know! However some of the 3rd game IDs letters are actually numbers, so I assume it's the fourth letter? I have some games with an E letter but they work. Super Mario Galaxy 1 is a game that works and the letter is E, but Super Mario Galaxy 2 also has an E, however it's a game that doesn't launch?

The last 4th subset of the ID contains 2 digits, which is the publisher code.

Sorry, didn't know. Is it good like that?
Yep. That's good enough.

Alright, well Super Mario Galaxy 2 is the US region version, and Wii Party is the same (they're the two games that shows a black screen and then returns to the system menu). I have some other games with the US region that I can play without bugs.

Best to stick with images of your TV format/region
Alright, if nothing works I'll try to download the bugged games in the Europe region version.

Try changing 'Game IOS' to IOS '58' or '249'.

@CColdFoxx If you had searched the forum since yesterday, there is in the Wii section a very nice guide pinned for troubleshooting such problems with USB Loader GX. To not ask questions, which are already asked 10.000 times. Ya i know, some nice racecar girls holding a sign with a big red arrow is missing.

BTW your standard ios setup is ok.
And we dont want to know to know where or how you get the games if its pirated, also posting such things here.

Try changing 'IOS Reload' to IOS '58' or '249'.
Where is IOS Reload? Is that an option in USB Loader GX?

Thanks for your answer. When I said I searched on GBATemp since yesterday, I meant that I looked for posts with the same problem as me. I didn't know there was a guide for troubleshooting such problems.

Sorry, I mean 'Game IOS'. Select 'Settings' > 'Game IOS', scroll down to where it says 'Game IOS' in the list then change the IOS to '249' or '250.'

It was already told, and I edited it to only say I got it from a website, I think that's enough.

It was already on IOS 249, so I tried the 250 one but it does the same thing :/

Problem fixed. Basically, the games were in a WBFS format for USB Loader GX, and they were wrongly renamed. At first, the files were just named as the game name, so I changed the file names to the game IDs but I didn't know them, so I quickly searched on Google. It seems that I renamed them with the wrong region letter, and so it didn't launch. I just had to rename the E letter (US) to a P (Europe) and it worked. Thank you for your answers though!
