It's a budget game, I personally would skip it. Get Mario Party esque games for parties instead, although MP8 is mediocre, it probably beats a budget title.

Oh and there is quite some controversy surrounding this game. You can only create white avatars, you see.

Still, I might be wrong, this game might be worth a shot.

This game is a good party game that you can play with many people right out of the box without playing it for a few hours in single player mode to unlock even the most basic party games. There are at least 20 multiplayer games right off the bat. Good times for drinking games and goofy fun. Not worth a $40 price point but worth the download or $19 in the bargain bin in a few months, or a rental for parties.
