I never really played the other version before so I wouldn't know the reason why it's always going to be on a Sony console.

MH will probably go to the 3DS but...I'm really hoping this will be MH for the PS3. MH was pretty good on the Wii but it could have been better with an HD experience to it. Although, any other announcement for a new IP or deserving sequel will also be good news to me.

The 3DS is pretty much guaranteed at least a port of MH Portable 3rd if not it's own version.

I'm such a sucker about the idea of DLC costumes that they could sell 6 per character, $.99 a piece (80pts on xbox) and i'd buy every single fucking one of them (over time, only characters i play or really cool ones at first, but i will end up with all of them).

YOU HEAR ME CAPCOM!? YOU'VE GOT $60 BUCKS OUT OF MY POCKED FOR THE GAME, AND AT LEAST $180 ON COSTUMES*

*figuring 6 costumes per character, at least 30 characters.

why do people immediately assume its going to be on a nintnendo system? if they're saying its going to be big, i'd think one of the more popular franchises that are on most systems. new resident evil game? new dmc game? new breath of fire game even? maybe new darkstalkers.

i think capcom has learned from megaman X7 and X8.
i'm hoping it's not in 16 bit SNES styles though, don't get me wrong, i loved that style and i love the retro style of Megaman 9 and 10.

but a game with 2.5D like MMX8 and MMX:MH would be better imo, or at least a new sprite style (a high res sprite for Wii, 360, and PS3)

Which was originally a PS3 game. It was moved to the Wii because the PS3 was too hard to develop on at the time.

Again, Tri was originally a PS3 game but moved to the Wii because of the development difficulty. And the only reason Frontier is on the 360 is because Microsoft is trying to push 360's in Japan cause they are not selling well. And Frontier has never left Japan/Korea so I wouldn't expect it to come over here. Especially since Capcom can't "guarantee" anything. I'm still waiting on MML3, ZX3 and Viewtiful Joe. And that Gyakuten Saiban 5 that was announced 3 years ago.

It's probably not gonna be a Nintendo-Capcom crossover fighter, so don't hold your breath. They already did Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on the Wii and they're doing Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Making yet another crossover would just seem like a one-trick pony.

Odds are there will be a Mega Man 3DS so don't worry.
