The Japanese company Capcom, by official count of the Twitter social network, has ensured that this Thursday will make a big announcement, but so far has not discussed details of the case.

It really is not the first time that any of the western parts of the company announces a big surprise, and end up disillusioned, so stay calm.

Although these ads are not always associated with new games, Capcom has not given his list of titles in the Gamescom "in recent days have speculated a new Darkstalkers delivery, among other reasons because the message Yoshinori Ono saying "Super Street Fighter IV is nothing compared to what's coming. We will keep you informed."

It's probably not gonna be a Nintendo-Capcom crossover fighter, so don't hold your breath. They already did Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on the Wii and they're doing Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Making yet another crossover would just seem like a one-trick pony.

Odds are there will be a Mega Man 3DS so don't worry.

its probably going to be something related to SSF4. Maybe DLC and/or news about the addition to the arcade version and maybe a PC version.

My reasoning is that Ono, the guy in charge of the SF4 series, was the first to talk about this news that was coming out, and mentioned SSF4.

This. Oracle of Secrets, anyone? I would honestly cry with joy if this were the case.

Hell, even an updated port to the 3DS would be awesome.

In reality though, it'll probably be a SSFIV update, something surrounding a new Darkstalkers that'll be 360/PS3 only, or some kind of Mega Man variant.

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
