Well to be fair, the solution was posted on another thread and I considered this thread as a common noob question, but hey, I'll post the solution.

This is to play your cartridge games on Atmosphere or Emunand, not sure if this still works on the new update but give it a try.

You first need to set the nogc value to 0 in BCT.ini

Go to:
Root\atmosphere\config_templates
and open BCT.ini with Notepad

After that, add this line of code after the "[stratosphere]"

add nogc = 0

After you added the line, save your file and you're done.

This still working as a fix? Updated my switch a few days back and the cartridges aint working again. There's no longer a BCT file...

The ini file is located in \atmosphere\config_templates but in order for Atmosphere to read it and apply the configuration during boot you need to copy the file to \atmosphere\config

Honestly, who boots vanilla fusee on a daily basis? If you boot through hekate and use fss0, none of these will help you. You need to set autonogc=0 in hekate_ipl.ini, under the [config] heading.

Use atmosphere/config/stratosphere.ini

What should the file look like when opened please?

Code:
[stratosphere]
nogc=0
; To force-enable nogc, add nogc = 1
; To force-disable nogc, add nogc = 0
