You are not supposed to be able to mount emummc partition if you are talking about emunand
No I meant the physical sysMMC partition. I'm supposed to be able to mount it and make a backup that way, right? The one labeled eMMC RAW GPP.

When you use hekate's ums mount feature it only mount the sd card partition not any internal emmc or emulated emummc

It has an option to mount the eMMC too, though? But macOS says it's not readable for some reason.

I don't get why you mounting it to do a nand backup when you can do the nand backup within hekate.
SD cards' lifespans are shorter than a Mayfly's, lol. I have had two SanDisk Extremes fail on me already [bought directly from them, so not fakes] and I hate getting it replaced. Backing up to a computer with an SSD fixes this.

You got poor luck then, I haven't have a Sandisk SD died on me though. I don't have a mac so can't really help you on that.
