Misc Can't find anybody online

In SSBB, when I play online, not with friends (never tried with the friend codes) I can't play with anyone. I can watch people play and bet on their game, but whenever I want to play, I select my stage, my character and I stuck with the sandbag.

Also, is it possible to duel someone on the internet in the "worldwide" section? (non-friend)

I have the same problem, just keep getting the punching bag. I can't even get into spectator mode. Could someone post here or PM me on how to get into spectator mode. Thanks in advance

same prob here... i got the dvd9 version (verbatim dvd+r dl) and im always stuck = sandbag
i just want to play online, if any1 know how ² please let me know

that is because US and EUR servers are not opened up yet as the game hasn't been released there yet.

you can however, use friend codes temporarily till you get the real game.

Not true. I have a DVD5 rip. I was able to play, once only though lol. But it doesn't seem to work after that anymore.

I use a legit, imported version of SSBB.

I CANNOT join online battles, only friend code fights. So it is definitely not the "rip"

Nintendo could have some kind of lag protector thingy. Like if you try to connect to japan players it lags too much and it won't find them like a filter. But that's just speculation.

ps. i can't find players either. (Dvd9)
