I just started messing around with GRRLIB (http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Homebrew_apps/GRRLIB) but I can't get any DOLs that use it (both the included examples and stuff I compiled myself) to run on a GameCube emulator. I've thrown about five different emulators at it and none worked. They either crash, hang, or do nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions? Am I just doing it wrong?

Bump.

Are there any devs or other such knowledgeable people here that can recommend a GC emulator that works with GRRLIB? Does one even exist?

I really want to get started programming with this, but if I can't run the builds right on my computer, it's pretty much a lost cause.

Dunno, the only GC emulator I've ever used is Dolphin, and it's only just barely playable with one game. It's a shame development is so, so slow. The emulator hasn't been updated for nearly a year, and the update is still being promised.
Expect it to be good when it finally is updated though.

Anyways, GC emulators just aren't very well developed so I personally wouldn't expect them to support much beyond the most basic of things. Of course, I don't actually know, I'm just guessing.

gcube works now with libogc based applications
grrlib is based on libogc so it should works... if your code is correct

Yes, gcube comes with the devkit, but it just hangs in the background when I use it. When I use Dolphin or Whinecube, I get a weird-ass screen like this:

And like I said, this happens with every program that uses GRRLIB, not just mine. Ah well, guess I'll just have to stumble through it and save the graphics stuff for last...
