I've been using a WD Passport drive for many years now, and never had a problem.
But, after I updated some of my IOS versions my loader (USB Loader GS 1271) doesn't recognize the drive anymore.
It still works fine if I hook it up to my PC, and let the Backup Manager read it, but on the Wii it's not being detected.
The loader gives me a message about either using IOS222 or IOS249, but neither of them work.

P.S. It turns out that WiiFlow and NeoGamma can both read the drive, only USB Loader GS is having problems.
When I checked its config file ([SDCARD]\config\GXGlobal.cfg), the cios setting was 0, so I changed it to 249, but that didn't help. I deleted the config file altogether, but that too didn't make a difference...

Last edited by Kronzky,
Since this seemed to be a pretty unique issue (going by the lack to replies), I figured I may as well start all over.
So, I finally updated my system from 3.1 to 4.3, re-hacked, re-patched and re-installed it all, and now it works again.
(It seems that a lot of apps and tools didn't like V3.1, and, instead of fixing stuff, they just made things worse, so, going with the latest OS seemed to be the best/only solution...)
