Lol! That clears a lot of misunderstanding but that whole card that goes into inside card that goes onto a console sounds really weird, just like the Spongebob Chocolate episode with the cases that were inside other cases.

The scale is wrong, even taking perspective into account, the hight of the DS cart should be slightly more than twice the hight of the microSD. the microSD card in that image is far too big.

Well I had to literally pull out my Micro SD to realize that. But seriously if I hadn't made this tread I'd probably end up putting the file into the Mini SD and keep wondering why it doesn't work.

The flashcart goes into the DS game slot. Then micro SD goes into the center of the bottom touch screen. You gotta push it in REALLY hard though. If it doesn't go, sometimes I use a small finish nail hammer. Don't worry if the bottom screen looks cracked at first, it will go away once the game starts.

You still seem a bit confused. You don't have a mini SD in your 3DS or in a flashcard

Left to right - SD, Mini SD, Micro SD

The mircoSD goes into the flashcart. (the firmware files for the flashcart are on that MicroSD)
The SD card and the flashcart go into the 3DS. (that SD has nothing to do with the flashcart/homebrew/whatever)

There's no flashcart for 3DS that uses MiniSDs.

lol I mistook the Mini SD with the Plains SD this time around.. I don't know if I should call this obsession with Mini SD but why don't they use Mini SDs on 3DS anyway.. I digress, Thanks for clearing the last part up guys you were really helpful
