Gaming Can New Pal Wiis be chipped?

I'm going to get a Nintendo Wii sometime this week and i was wondering if the new Pal(Australian) Wii's can be chipped cause i heard that some Wii's have a d2c microchip that makes the Wii not able to be chipped. Anybody know?

D2C can't be chipped you're right. chances are you'll get one of those anyways.

That don't mean it'll not ever be moddable someday though.

Else just find a shop which sells them pre-modded. That might be an easier option for you.

Yes but in saying that a premodded Wii is worth it. I modded mine myself but for the price of a premodded wii it is worth it in the long run.... Wii's are cheap as anyway I don't understand why so many people are worried about the price
