Hey guys, I'm finally getting my DS next week.
Anyway, I got the three US Phoenix Wright games, but I only realized this after I got them: Will I still be able to hear the original Japanese voices? Or are there dubs for the US ones? Because I really don't want to listen to it in English..

The VA is in English, but the only thing you hear is "Objection!", "Hold it!" and "Take That!", so it's no biggie.

If I remember correctly, the only words you ever hear are "Objection", "Hold It", and "Take That."

The Japanese roms probably have the Japanese voices (don't know, never tried), but I'd say it isn't worth the trouble considering you would have to always enter some code or something to get the rest of the game in English.

EDIT - Ah, answered a bit late. Still confirms those are the only words you hear at least.

The Japanese versions of Phoenix Wright include the full English translation (at least 2 and 3 do I think) but you gotta hold some buttons or something to activate them every time you play.

That's bullshit.

I own PW2 and 3 in Japanese, there is a big fat, impossible to miss button right in the main menu that switches it to English.

Like I said, I never tried it, so I didn't know the details of how to do it, just that there was some way.

But if you want to be a jerk about it, fine.

Yeah, there's a nice little button as soon as you start PW2 or PW3 that says (Japanese) or (English). You see that screen every time the game is turned on. :]

Why can't they tape the first 3 PW games together into a massive Wii game with limited motion controls and some voice acting (I don't think we need full FMVs, or any real change in gameplay).

So you want a port of a port? If they made a Wii game it should be exclusive and much larger than the GBA/DS games.
