So I have CFW now and I’m a bit paranoid about being banned even though I’ve alreadu disabled sending of system info. I hear Nintendo can still see homebrew apps through the activity log, so is it safe for me to just delete internet settings and take my 3DS offline?
I don’t have any games that do online multiplayer, nor am I interested in it, and the only thing I ever downloaded from the eshop was old VC gameboy games, which I now make VC injects of instead. Still gonna support Nintendo by buying all my 3DS games as physical copies, so I guess there’s no harm in just not using the internet on my system anymore?

Why couldn't you? Although you still need internet if you want to download the physical games' updates.

I didn’t know if there’s anything on CFW that needs internet to work.
Either way, most of the games I have are just single player games (Mario 3D, OOT and MM3D, etc.) that don’t even really need to be updated to work, so I’m probably just gonna go offline. I can’t even remember the last time I updated or bought anything online with my 3DS. Hell I just picked it up for the first time today in months to hack it

Yes, you can just go offline without any issues, but I wouldn't worry about bans. If you don't cheat online you won't be banned. And in case you were banned there are easy ways of unbanning.

Just dont install CIA homebrew (installable homebrew on the homemenu), use the rosalina homebrew launcher that comes with luma, make sure send system info is off and you might as well turn off spotless, and avoid cheating. Should be good to go. Just modded my cousins new 2ds xl and set it all up that way.
