My switch (iPatched) is on 5.1.0. With Deja Vu coming soon, I'm worried that, due to having a supernag, I won't be able to use it. If I was to buy a 6.0.0 cartridge, would cart updating get rid of the Supernag, or would I just be in the same situation but on a worse firmware?

Change your DNS to 90DNS so it would block update for now until Deja Vu is drop or you can leave the unit completely off.

Its on airplane mode, but the update nag will not just go away from what I've been told.

You can go into maintenance mode and reinitialize if you don't mind losing data.
Super nag, not normal nag :P

Super nag is the one you get when opening the web browser and you are only given two options, cancel or update. Dunno how to get rid of it without CFW

He can go into Nintendo Maintenance mode and reset the unit by reinitializing it, technically he can do it from the home menu, just wipe all his data, and the nag would be good until it get downloaded again. He could also go into airplane mode, then Maintenance mode then go back to the OS, it won't nag him until he connects online again.

you install 90dns then shut down your switch completly
then press Power on and Vol+ and Vol- to enter the Maintenance mode then press 30 seconds Power off

That doesn't fix the supernag, only the regular nag.
but with this method should the switch forget that updates are avaible and thanks to 90DNS it cant download or check for these updates soooooo doesnt work?
worked for me.. but i dont know if it was a supernag i dont think so.

super nag is the one you get from opening the web browser/eshop and your only given two options (cancel, or update). there is no way to revert this without the ability to edit system save data afaik

yea but when the switch doesnt know that this new Update exists the eshop cant be launched due to the problems with older firmwares and Browser would launch as long as it isnt a nintendo.com website because 90DNS blocks them. doesnt the maintenance menu removes the data of this new update...

when the system notices there’s an update NeedsUpdateVulnerability gets set to 1, once it’s set to 1 literally the only way to set it back is by updating or editing system save data. deleting the update files with maintenance mode does not get rid of this

also I don’t use 90dns kek, I just go online with CFW like I normally would
