Android Camera functions not working after jelly bean update!

My GF recently updated her Acer Iconia Tab A700 to the 4.1 Jelly Bean update and now her camera or camera related apps no longer work. It forces close and says "unable to connect to camera". I tried clearing cache and factory restore. Any one else have this issue and is there a way to fix or downgrade back to ice cream sandwhich?
