So I've purchased 3 months of Nintendo Online, but I cannot figure out how to purchase the Nes controllers. The closest I can get is going to www.nintendo.com/switch/online-service/special-offers/

I see where is says you have to have a paid membership ( which I do, 3months) but I can't figure out how to actually purchase.

I read somewhere they are not shipping until December.

With a Family Plan I wonder how many one can order. I assume 8 sets as if each user has a Nintendo Account. :ha:

The NES Controller are not very good. They working only with the NES games. Buy a 8Bitdo controller~

Played with the nes30 pro, worked fantastically for the nes games and undertale. For just 10 bucks more than the official nes controllers you can get a pair of nes30 pro controllers which are also really good for a retropie setup, or a spare set of controllers that have enough buttons to work on other switch titles other than just nes.

These NES Switch controllers will likely work just fine in Retropie as well.

If you only plan on playing nes games sure. The extra buttons are needed for pretty much anything else.

Gameboy and Gameboy color, as well as any 8-bit Sega games too. Perfect for a Pi Zero build.

IMO pi zero is only really useful for portable builds, which wouldn't utilize wireless controllers like this because you'd use controls wired directly in the build. Outside of portable builds you'll likely be using a standard raspberry pi that can play games with more buttons.
