So I've been wanting to install steelhax (but browserhax gets the update nag and menuhax cant use ctr-httpwn etc. etc.) and so I've stumbled upon this guide and it says that i can still go to browserhax if i do the whole DNS thing, but I've seen posts where peeps have said that doesn't work anymore can someone please tell me if it does or does not work and can someone actually test it out

If you've received the update nag, you can no longer use Browserhax or get around it by using the DNS. You will have to find another entrypoint.

Hey i need to ask something, this is my situation: i will buy my NEW 3DS this sunday, i dont know wich system version will it have. if i configure the DNS before opening the browser, go to browserhax, launch CTR-HTTPWN with homebrew launcher and finally go to the eshop to download steelwars for steelhax, will it work? I mean, i wont use the browser without the DNS so it should not trigger the update nag, this should work...

When you set up your system for the first time, add the DNS to your Wi-Fi connection first. This should work otherwise.
