Gaming Broken Lower LCD Screen on DS

Having broken my Lower LCD screen on my DS lite I wondering how technical it is to change.

I have found various instructions and guides using Google - some easier than others.

With little more than basic confidence with a screwdriver should I give it a go or do I spend three times as much to get someone to do it for me?

Any advice welcome.
