Hardware Bought a used wii u

I just received a used wii u. There's already an account on it with wii sports on it. I guess I need to do a factory reset right? But will I lose the wii sports game

Hello.
Yes you will as it is not part of your account and it ism't a default game on the wii u.

It happened for me on Marop kart 8 as someone had the dlc but I can't use it.

side question: I didn't get a sensor bar... is it provided when you buy a new Wii u?

Yeah, the Wii U comes with a sensor bar, its not needed at all and sometimes u can use the Gamepad like one. anyway is better you provide a sensor bar
