I have a question for anyone who used reverse-nx or the real time branch with breath of the wild, does it seem blurrier? Btw I have the overclock settings set to 1224, 768, 1600 for BOTW. When I switch between docked and handheld on the fly there definitely less jaggies with docked mode but it looks quite blurrier than handheld which has more aliasing but seems sharper. Is docked mode for BOTW using crappy fxaa or something, which basically lazily blurs the whole game image to cheaply reduce jaggies? If it is, is there a way to disable it's antialiasing if that's what making it seem blurrier?

No, this is not it.
In handheld you have 720p window with DR between 540p and 720p. In docked you have 1080p window with DR between 720p and 900p. So if you are using docked mode in handheld, you're downscaling window resolution to 720p which means you will get not clean image, but approximation. This is technology issue you cannot get past.

Thanks for the reply! That's interesting though, I suppose I was just surprised by it and expecting something different. I've seen many posts here where users say whatever game they're playing was more crisp in reverse-nx docked mode handheld. I think the downsampled resolution is less crisp when I thought it would be more crisp, at least in this game, I wonder if other games scale better? I think I'll just keep BOTW in handheld mode because I think the graphical fidelity is actually better.

It depends on resolution used in handheld in other games. For example both Xenoblades are using 720p window resolution in both modes. Some games can have very low resolution in handheld so switching to docked mode is Night and Day difference. The sharpest cleanest image in handheld is always if window resolution is 720p and render resolution is 720p at the same time.
