So it was normal to originally semi brick my wii, but then I needed to install preloader again over ios60?

Is this a low level brick that cant be fixed? Is it send it to nintendo and claim power failure time?

What if you hold reset and then turn the power on. Does the preloader menu show?

i think so dude, or personally theres always the take it back to ASDA and tell them it was updating to 4.0 and this is what happened lol i've done it and so have alot of people.

I thought that when I installed IOS60 surely there must have already been an IOS? I only removed 1 IOS.

ASDA have a 5yr warranty on all electrical goods, whether its gonna cover a Wii is a different story i done it when i was still in warranty mate.

Right one more question before I try to sleep off the fact I've been so stupid.

If I send this in to Nintendo is there anyway they can tell it has homebrew on it? Bare in mind its totally bricked. Because if they can, its very expensive!

9 times outta 10 they just wipe it dude or replace it

i've never personally had to send it to nintendo so i dont know how much it is i think its about 70notes if its your fault.

Well, it's still cheaper than a new Wii ... don't break the next one ...

This post should be a lesson to everybody - Never delete an IOS unless somebody with knowledge has given you the definite go ahead!

Why did I originally get a brick? (after installing IOS60)

I suppose I would pay £80 to be able to do all this stuff so I guess it is worth it.
