Blockbuster Canada tanks (finally)

    And another one bites the dust. Nothing of value lost and all that jazz. I haven't been to Blockbuster in years because their selection is terrible and their prices are outrageous.

    Blockbuster is still kicking in the UK, but to be honest the only thing I ever buy in there is their popcorn.
    Bagged or microwave, it's my favourite brand.

    There are no more Blockbuster stores in my area in the US, and I had been wondering why. Not too surprising that they're suffering so heavily. Places like Netflix offer so much more for so much less in the long run, and rental kiosks such as Redbox help give quick rentals for a low, convenient price.

    The ways of Blockbuster are obsolete at this point (though when the stores by me were closing, the employees were trying to get commission for having people sign up for Blockbuster Online).

    I only used Blockbuster for their disc-cleaning services.

    I'll have to find somewhere else to get the scratches on my discs removed, now. Oh well.
