I hear it works on DVDR's so my guess the game checks to see if you are using a USB hardrive to load the game, if so it crashes..

Look like we need a patch!!

My other theory is their maybe an issue loading from USB because of the Headbanger headset being USB... However I wrekon it could very well be more in the AP direction, as Conduit works fine with WII SPEAK

Using Ciosx rev 20 using Base ios 57

Could be a possibilty the game needs IOS 58 for USB 2 support for the Headbanger headset in Multiplayer, hence why it works on DVDR's

Definitely interesting though, I have to say..


However if people are trying it from Neogamma from Disc and it works, i'd say it's gearing more in the AP direction detecting 'unauthorised USB Device' as Neo Gamma also uses Ciosx rev 20, etc

Crashes on loading screen, doesn't even get to the Menu. Testing many Cios's

The Cios that works best is ciosx rev 20, using 57 as a base..

It gets to the menu, Single player works, multiplayer and Zombies don't

I dunno, but it seems that someone isn't telling the truth here, or is doing something wrong.

Im using a later revision of wiiflow..

will try that version and report back..

It passes the first loading screen
- Single player: fine
- Zombies: Loading.. screen freeze
- Multiplayer: Loading.. screen freeze

It passes the first loading screen
- Single player: fine
- Zombies: Loading.. screen freeze

right ive been trying the pal version, just gonna try NTSC version when I get hold of it and report back later.

EDIT: some people are reporting NTSC version to be working... It could very well be the Pal version is NUKED!!!

What's the source of the PAL release ?
does it have german language in it? is it the uncut austria release?

i could imagine you need 4.3 to run it. didn't try a rip. I'll get the original hopefully tomorrow.
Anybody with problems tried to update the IOS through dop-mii or similar?

Looks like the Australian-Version to me, which probably means English only. At least, as far as I know, and my favorite Website/Store tells me, there will be a German-Only release, like with the latest CoDs for the Wii. Also, according to the Website, there will be no Cut/Uncut-Release.

I don't think you need 4.3 (otherwise, it would be really a new AP, checking which Systemmenu you have). Updating the IOS won't also do anything, at least for USB-Loaders, and Disc-Loaders, which is what is being discussed here.

and the version I get 2morrow is from Austria and that's fully uncut with german language.

For USB loading, just a quick shot to get it working ...

Tested ISOs: retail dump and Call.of.Duty.Black.Ops.PAL.WII-iMARS

- Install Hermes cIOS 224 v5.1 base 57
- Install cIOSX rev20b base 57 (only tested with Waninkoko rev20b)

CFG Loader

- Use CFG Loader 61b2 or higher (only tested with 61b2)
- add ios = 224-mload to CFG Loader config.txt (it is important that ios 224 is loaded before you start COD:BO! otherwise it don't work! i don't know why?!?)
- Use IOSX rev20b base 57 (for example slot 249) to start the game

WiiFlow

- Use the IOS 224 Version of WiiFlow r263 or higher (only tested with r263)
- Use IOSX rev20b base 57 (for example slot 249) to start the game


Singleplayer-, Multiplayer- and Zombie-Mode works with this configuration.
