Hacking BIG problem with F2A 256M + Card from DX

I bought gba sp with f2a 256m on ebay without iLinker so I bought on DX flash card 128m with cable (parallel). And there's a problem. Card from dx works fine with splink, but when I insert f2a it gives me error "unknown card 2e2e2e2e". When i want to use f2a pw it gives me error "ERROR_PORT() INPUT!" so I can assume that cable works only with software which use a winio DLL not DLportIO... little writer also doesn't work (DLportIO) please help me

you can try the F2A loader programs that were made so you can use the NDS to write a game to it. You should be able to get them from the download section, you will have to search for them. other than that you can look through ebay again and see if someone sells the usb adapter for cheap.

My F2A came with a USB linker, not a parallel, and as far as I know it's not compatible with FlashAdvance linkers.
Also as far as I know, the NDS loders do not work with F2A cards, only regular FA.
And I bet yours is actually a Flash2Advance PRO , isn't it ?

No, the F2A can use either. The only reason the usb is more prevailent is that the people that made the P25 cable for F2A people made ALOT of them defective and didn't work.

The loader program also works on the F2A 256.


There are only:
FA (The pro and turbo version had the buttons)
F2A
F2A Ultra (basically the turbo functions survived in this case)
GameWallet

I don't have nds, only gba sp and I tried all f2a programs (and many versions f2a pw)
and it's only F2A (not pro / turbo etc). I found usb linker for about 30$ for me it's too expensive because I bought gba sp + f2a for 22$.
