Hacking BETA Firmware B.5 for CycloDS Evolution

I thought TC had a long-standing request not to share their betas off-site.

They realized this request was dumb as (a) the beta was legitimately good and people were going to share it any way and (b) they had no site for a long time.

No, the beta firmware has been released at team cyclops beta firmware forum. Usually only registered users have access to this section but due to the really old backup TC has been used to restore its forums, this beta firmware section can be accessed by guests too like the time the backup has been made.

Nope. The beta forum was first for registered users than widely open to everyone and after the restoration to the old state like in 2008 it was close again for only few hours and Evolution from Team Cyclops fixed it again. Trust me ... or try ;-)

Of course you must use BETA software at your own risk. The BETA firmware builds may (and often will) have bugs and we can take no responsibility for any loss of data or other problems associated with using BETA firmware builds. Only proceed if you understand and accept the risks involved! However, in general the worst that can happen is that you may suffer some data corruption on your MicroSD card so as long as you backup your data you don't really have anything to worry about.

The only real restriction now is that ordinarily they'd prefer that new Beta releases aren't released as front-page news.

I used this update and my Cyclo DS worked again.
It stopped working after the last beta update I used.
Just wouldn't boot but woul randomly work just fine. So I thought it was a hardware issue.
I gave up on it and went to my EZflash 5 which has worked well enough for me.
Though with this update the problem seems to be gone for good.

Cheats still dont seem to be workig guess I need to update thoughs.

Gosh its been soo long since I used my Cyclo DS
Considering selling it and getting a DStwo instead heh.

Curious about this new GUI though.
Had no clue they were still working on it anymore.
