You see.. that's what made me sad and dissappointed of new games... the newer they are, the more blood @_@
I mean, most of the games become more of a "killing games".. action... what about humor games? party games? games like arcade but newer? quest games? they are all about the be gone... without nintendo, I don't believe any of these kind of games would exist.
Though I do love Super Smash Bros, but it's more of funny and humor, than bloody and nasty. It's more friendly... though it still has some violence... I don't say get rid of them all... just have more games from other categories.
Quest games are pretty out though I liked them.. I can't see any new 3D quest games... maybe RPG, but not quest. (Day of the tentacle for example). I liked old games because they were FUN to play even though they had POOR graphics.
I think you see my point and why I'd prefer Wii on PS3/Xbox360![]()
You may call it "for children", but then again, most "old" people say that gaming in general is for children...
I don't understand when friendly games became for children, and killing games for adults... (adults sucks then XD and evil)
Perfect agreement from me here
And I think with "Quest" games you are referring to Adventure games? There really need to be more new ones. Day of the Tentacle kinda made my childhood.
Oh and if the Wii is one thing, that that isn't "for children". It's just family friendly. A lot of people call the Wii (and called the Gamecube) "kiddie" simply because they haven't realized yet that fun does not equal "kiddie". And I don't think "killing games" really equal "adult", either. It's really just what you prefer. I like to play a shooter now and then and to "blow some shit up" just as I enjoy playing stuff like Mario. Especially the old ones
Eh, almost forgot to add: Story also means everything for me. I basically EAT games of any genre, kind and console if the story's good
That's also why I own ALL current consoles. I don't really give damn about the brands (although I DO love Nintendo, simply because they are like the grandfather of gaming), I just care about the games. That's what makes a true "gamer". Not being a fanboy or loyal to any console. Just play the damn games xD
If there's a game I wanna play, I get the console. It's as easy as that for me.
