So I got a 32 GB SDHC for my 3DS and was wondering what would be the best cluster size to format the card with. Generally a large cluster size means more speed but in some instances it could cause stability issues (Swiss, Moonshell etc.). Does Nintendo recommend how to format the SD cards?

i recently installed a 16gb micro sdhc and was wondering the same, i tried searching a format option on the menus of the 3ds but the only format is for the system itself, so i copied over the 2gb sd that came with the console to the 16gb one without doing anything and is working without issues with the factory format.

I figured the preinstalled card that came along with the 3DS XL has a cluster size of 32KB. So I guess I will stick with it unless someone says 64KB will result in a significant speed improvement.
