I expect the 8bitdo N30 2.4G might be the best dedicated NES/Fami wireless controller, but the nostalgic adherence to the hard-cornered rectangular shape was unnecessary IMHO. I'm old enough to remember the pain, and being much older now it's probably be even more of a PITA. I would prefer the original soft-corners of the Fami controller, or even better a perfect wireless reproduction of the NES top loader "dogbone" controller.
I guess I could get the 8bitdo retro receiver @ $25 and team that up with an SN30 controller for $30, but that's $55 to get what should be possible for much less. The only good thing is that the SN30 would also come with an SNES retro receiver, so the controller could do double duty.
But are there other, possibly better options? I don't want anything with analog sticks. This is for use on an NES.
