Hacking Been out of the loop need help

hi everyone I currently have a switch on firmware 5.01 I’m running reinx with tinfoil and a 128gb sd card I also have auto rcm enabled. The last game I installed was mario party been away with work for a couple of months and have fallen behind with the whole scene. Just wondering if I can install new games such as pokemon or smash bros. Don’t want to brick my switch any help or updates would be grate.

install them with tinfoil (ignore FW version). That should work.

Games that require 6.X won't work and will require you to update. You can update to 6.1.0 using ChoiDujourNX without burning any efuses. Do not update to 6.2.0 until a compatible CFW is released.

For now, most (if not all) games require 5.1.0 or lower. Pokemon and Smash Bros. both require 5.1.0.

Yeah definitely wrong. Sorry to double down on this. Tinfoil does not magically generate keys to decrypt games that require higher firmware
