I see multiple uploads of theirs arising with 'v001' added to them and the following description:

Time for another Switch release
hey its rev001 of a game we already released
contains some nice patches and 3.0.1 OS Update

Does this cause any harm or difference in comparison to the previous releases?

This is the same company that issues 2-week online bans, without warning, for "taunting" in their games.

It's a miracle that they can even put on their own pants each morning.

Scene groups don't patch things in.

This is like all those v1.1 carts Nintendo released on 3DS a few years in. The game with some updates you'd otherwise have to download.
